Posters were the original project of the Victory Garden of Tomorrow, when Wirtheim started designing for screen-printing in 2006. Since then, he has made over 40 poster designs for either the VGoT project or for any like-minded clients, like the Oregon Processed Vegetable Commission.
The idea that the VGoT was a futurist project was baked in from the beginning. Imagining the future of space travel is exciting, but needs to include the cultivation of plants as a food source.
