Overview
Twelve original hand-illustrated art posters for the modern homefront--new classics for gardening, canning, cooking and more. Oregon illustrator Joe Wirtheim connects the past to an empowered, hopeful future with his inspired brand of optimistic propaganda. Join Portland Artist Joe Wirtheim on a journey into a hopeful and energized future in The Victory Garden of Tomorrow. Twelve illustrated posters celebrate the can-do spirit of gardeners, cooks and community builders everywhere. Each monthly calendar page offers plenty of space to write in notes and plans, and include moon cycles and holidays. Favorite selections from Joe’s flagship poster project are accompanied by descriptions of the inspiration, creative process and thinking behind each illustration. Follow along as the practical optimism of the VGoT story unfolds for you in 2026. Your purchase supports this independent studio. We make art that celebrates growing, caring and doing. We empower people to imagine a brighter future.
